Bluegill - Big Bluegill

Do you love big bluegill?

We traditionally have a great blue crab harvest right after tropical systems pass through but so far we haven't seen the big bounty.......Still had a good time getting my wife out on the water as she dearly loves to hand line for the big Blue Crabs......chicken and a string style.....

Hey Bruce indeed.......in North Carolina a regulation keeper is 5" from point to point on the shell but we have a "family" standard of six inches but always seek the elusive number one males which are normally 9 to 11 inches and recreational crabbers can keep 50 per day........
