...I hear ya on the heavily fished public lakes thing... you have to just enjoy the heck out of pulling fish from areas such as this... elevated level of skill... fishing those heavily pressured lakes sometimes requires that extra bit of effort.

It is a public lake that gets hammered that’s why I release 99 % of the fish I catch keep a few gut hooked or a few small to eat
