Thanks Dick....sounds like our forecast here for Saturday Carl.....but as long as it doesn't blow 25 or better Sunday we'll be back on them because we have a pretty good buffer on the surface temps here which were in the mid 70s today.....The gills might be a bit sluggish behind the front but the Crappie bite won't suffer, my experience is you can catch them if you can get out there......and they'll be gone from the shallows here in the coming weeks making room for my favorite species, the beloved Coppernose!

Yeah Vince.....that cold front is approaching us now, probably here before midnight.....lows in the 40s Sunday morning behind the front........We'll get back on them as soon as Mother Nature does her thing....
