Bluegill - Big Bluegill

Do you love big bluegill?

I don't always eat the bigger gills but when you catch 120 and the smallest is 9".........you end up eating a few......this secret creek is amazing......a 90 year old man turned me on to this spot when he showed me some black and white pictures of bunches of 2 to 3 pound Coppernose from back in the 50s and 60s......I've been in awe ever since.....

Great mess of fish for the deep fry I can taste them now but I think you should have thrown that coontail in I might have drove all the way up from Ohio for a mess of deep fried coontails.
