Do you love big bluegill?
Thirty-Three tidal crappie today......most were in the 12 to 14 Inch class........pretty cold to start but lighter winds today made it bearable.......fish are transitioning towards deeper water.......

Throwback to late Fall 2016..........hoping for similar results when winter makes it's next showing later this week..........These fish were on a steep drop off in a region with just a couple lagoons for miles...........
Let us see how they look when you get them done Bruce......
Thanks Jim........we're up and down right now in coastal NC but we'll fight through it and see what that brings......hopefully you'll get some hard water fishing in Jim........
I fished with a lot of those marabou crappie jigs over the years before I could tie flies. I'm going to tie some up for spring.
Excellent my friend! We now have skim ice with colder temps on the way. My fishing is coming to a halt...dag gum it!
Thanks Bruce......numbers down from last weekend with rapidly falling water temps but the fish that were caught were quality specimens for sure........after a day in the mall yesterday, I'll take it! lol
Awesome day, Jeffrey.
Yep ......probably some cold water crappie and some fresh white tail back straps.............eat hearty!
Looks like a frying in the making.
