I hear you Dick......I don't target bass anymore and probably catch almost as many as I did before when I "bass" fished....LOL.....they really like the baits I use most often and I land most of the fish I hook although I have broke off several big bass in recent years......it's going to happen if you're fishing for panfish like I do.......catch enough to make it fun and get the kinks out.......

When I fished for bass in a club here in Toledo seems like they were always hard to come by, but since I concentrate on Gills I catch more Bass than when I targeted them.
