Thanks guys! I have spent many hours on this fragile water seeking a legit 17-inch crappie and have chronicled these efforts in my You Tube channel "Fishin' with Jim Gronaw" with videos about "Project 17". No 17 incher yet, our beast were 16.75 and 16.5 inches. I have been blessed to catch eleven over 15 this year an one at 16. This is by far my best year on giant crappies ever...all released but kept a few 10 to 12's for occassional meal.
