Hey buddy as we get older we have to slow down and while looking up for squirrels we have to look down for that next step you know at your age you have to be doubly cautious things break easier and mend slower. Hope nothings broke David except a little pride.

Ouch! Sorry to hear your accident Tooty. Glad the gun wasn't discharging at someone. Make sure to have that shoulder looked at too if the pain persist more than 3 days. May have a micro fracture that could problematic to  your fly casting, not to mention fly tying. Just take a nice long walk and a nice soak in a spa to relax now.

Wait..A holiday on Monday? Columbus day?! Ohhhhh...crap! We work on that holiday. Man..

I FELL DOWN AND WENT BOOM TODAY JEFFREY AND LEO!!!!!!!! WAS hunting squirrels with my sons ANSCHUTZ RIFLE and missed a step in the woods. Landed HHHHHHHHHARD on my right shoulder of all places and wrenched my neck and lower right back too. FLY TYING  IS ALOT SAFER HOBBY!!!! WILL GET SOME ICE ON IT REAL SOON. My grand daughter was along too and said , GEE WIZ GRANDPA YOU OK ? I said no Emily I"m not !
OH WELL GUESS I'LL have to watch the ground instead of the trees.

Rasberry and purple huh Jeffrey!!!! Glad I sent the other stuff off yesterday seeing as how I"m so clumsy, may not be able to fish or make bugs for a while. We'll see how it goes tomorrow morning when I attempt to get out a bed. You won't get your supplies on Monday either Leo, FEDERAL HOLIDAY!!!!! ONE OF 30 that the post office takes off every year. Gotta go I'm cranky and out of sorts.

Trying to duplicate these, but the purple and winter blue haven't arrive yet. Patiently waiting until Monday to make these so I can hit the water next weekends..I hope. Wife's kicking me out of the house to get some R&R on the water. Love that woman.

Nice! I'll look into the "new age" stuff. I'm still stuck with the ancient stuff. Went and purchased tons of peacock herls with various dyed "eye" and purple color for the light Purple Zulu, mocking a few native species of beetles and larvae around this areas. So many things to try. Oh, Master Tooty, got plenty of the pink-white, chartreuse, and yellow-lime poly yarns to make dry flies using with spinner reels as well. Making feeding pellets style flies..muahahahahahaa..
