I can imagine it, Allen. I may never see it, however, so imagining it will have to do
What a massive fish!

Can you imagine tangling with one of these on a fly rod?

Dennis, already talked to my wife and father-in-laws to have a weekends camp-out at Havasu. The plan is unknown at the moment due to so many factors. But man oh man, they're all jumping about looking for a way to sink their lines into those huge monstrosity.

LOL!! We can only wish David. If htat's the case, I would love to go to that tank and purchase a pair to breed them, and introduce the same genetic monsters into the local waters as my service to stock the fishes. I wouldn't mind taking this genetic and cross breed it with the Condello's Strain, and alter the genetic codes into Condello's Ultimate Strain.

"Notice that each year is another record breaker? Sheesh!!"

I've also noticed its always at Galbraiths these fish are shown. I suspect they have a tank out back of Mr. Galbraiths establishment where they grow these. Then, out in the lake they have a secret net enclosure into which they place these farm fish. When you catch one from the enclosure - its a new worlds record on hook and line!

I'm only kidding, of course. What a massive fish. Half that size would make my day.

My prediction is probably a 7 pounder. The Quagra mussels are everywhere and the shell crackers are gorging on them. My guess is these fish will continue to grow if  caught and released and we should see some new world records. I have a honey hole where I tear the Red Ear and Blue Gill up every May. Seems like they get a little bigger every year the past three so I am excited for this year. Not only that but if they are on the nest there will be a few of these lunkers like this hanging out and spreading his genes and I will be ready. As much as I'd love to have my face and pic all over with a lunker like this one I think I will release him to swim. No negative meant or directed at the gentleman who caught this in any way shape or form but for me I'd have to let a big one like that go back for another days fight. OK who's with me in May??
