Bluegill - Big Bluegill

Do you love big bluegill?

Turns out if you ask the right folks the right question you can find your answer.....As you might have guessed...."Stump Perch" is just a local nickname that this fish was tagged with in Louisiana and it has been passed on through the generations.....The Louisiana Wildlife and Fisheries identified these fish as RED SPOTTED SUNFISH....I'm sure most of my family will reject the real name but it's good to know the facts......
