Sorry, I meant the lake was seperated before flooding went over the road and joined the two.

This is actually a different type of lake then you'd typically see around here. Most metro MN lakes are filled with homes/cabins and are used pretty heavy for recreation, making fishing a challenge at times. I opt to get a little dirty and get out on private lakes, with the landowners permission of course, and most don't even know they're property touches a pond/lake! This was a lake and cattle pond that was seperated by flooding. I'm actually fishing on top of a submerged dirt road with barb wire on each side, right off the side of the kayak. Presentation was a 1/16oz slab daddy jig in chart/pink tipped with a 1" gulp minnow(My favorite bait to tip anything when it comes to gills and crappies)
