Do you love big bluegill?
Don was killing 'em today!Massive lepomii (sunfish), nice salmoides (bass), and the biggest ictalurid (catfish) I've ever seen on the fly - actually, the FIRST I've seen on the fly!And these are…Continue

I'll admit, I'm lazy. Why expend a lot of effort and gas trying to find ponds, when all you have to do is open up Google Earth, zoom in on your area, and start looking?I know that I've found a LOT…Continue

Wow Jim nice pics looks like a good time
A few recent pond catches and views...Fished here on Fri 8-22-14...rumored to have big bass and cats, we caught 50 smallish gills with a few in the 8 inch range.
Small corner of a 3 acre park pond where my bro-in-law recently caught a 20-inch bass.
Lots of quality gills and seeds and bass to make an angler happy in this one just on the MD side of the Mason Dixon Line. Cooler shot below shows some we kept for a fry...
A view of the 5 acre public pond where all the big pumpkingills have been showing up.
Hope you enjoy!
Thanks
Hi Tooty can I join I love to fish ponds
HEY CHEYENNE ,
WWWWWELCOME TO ONE OF MY GROUPS and I know you'll like it . Also another good spot to post some fish pics !!!!!!!
Wow I have loads of stuff to do this year to the pond. Have to get some weeds and some muck dug out. Want to find a pontoon for a dock not having much luck yet I don't want to spend an arm and a leg for toons and a deck. I want to taper the banks so I can mow right to the water. Got fish coming this spring from a couple different places bluegills and some redears and got my fingers crossed we don't have a big fish kill this is our worst winter yet by far since I've been here and haven't had a fish kill yet and hoping for the best. Got to pull the Water Lilly's I planted last year in tubes and divide them and replant again in tubes looks like the went wild. Got to run electricity to the dock. Got to install the feeder on one corner of the dock and on the other corner install a bug lite I made to draw the bugs in at night them knocks them to the water, free fish food. I'm thinking then I can lay back on a chaise lounge with a pole in one hand and a ice tea in the other and nap, fish and reminisce.
THANKS FOR JOINING ONE OF MY GROUPS KEITH ! YOU are right about being able to fish a pond for a little while, or like I do lots of times take my lawn chair and sit and relax ..... Nothing quite as soothing as listening to the song birds in the spring and watching the bobbers ....NAP TIME !!!!
Good luck on Saturday Richard.
Richard, nothing like having a pond chock-full of fish that close to home. If you want a quick fishing trip, such a pond is the perfect remedy!
Fish hard, and bring home the photos. Father Winter is waking up, and Mother Spring is blooming with bites.
