Do you love big bluegill?

To the Lowlife that helped themselves to my tacklebag this morning

Thank you for giving me a good reason to spend $200 - $300 on a new tackle bag, plano box, lures, tackle, floats, and other gear. Some of it needed replacing, even though I literally just bought it a couple days ago. Please enjoy using those lures, as some of them are discontinued, or at least, not being carried by local sporting goods retailers.

I should warn you, though. I misplaced my bait knife a week ago. Out of desperation, just yesterday, I pulled my $65 boning knife out of my Chef's bag and wedged it into a compartment in my bag. It's in there pretty tight. As I alluded to, I work with food for a living, and I keep my knives razor sharp.

Please don't take this the wrong way, but personally, I hope you loose a finger or two on that knife.

Not only do fish pee in the water, but they poo and have sex in the water.  :)

I would like to get over to the Illinois River.  I would probably have to car-pool with another yakker, as I spent a little to much money on gas just getting to Spavinaw and back.  However, for the difference in water, it might be worth it.

Skiatook isn't that far, and I've been meaning to get up there.

Webbers Falls is a little far for me.

I lived 6 years in Tulsa and got to travel around the state a lot,what about keystone that should be right out your backdoor?   LOFR

I fish below Keystone dam quite often.  I also will hit Sahoma and Pretty Water, since they're just a few miles north of me.  Shell Creek Lake, between Sand Springs and Keystone Lake, is another nice little spot.  I might have to go explore Birch Lake, just north of Skiatook.

I've also got quite a few little "city" water supply lakes around here, perfect for yakking.  No gas engines on those.  Nice and peaceful.

I actually do have pics of a lot of my stuff, and also have a document that records serial numbers.  I really need to update that.  I need a better camera, as my Kodak Playsport has a focal length of about 4 1/2'.  I can't get close-ups.

Keep an eye on your local Craigslist in case it turns up there. eBay, too.

And - I hate to say this - keep your eyes open whenever you see open garage doors in your area. The person who took it could have been someone who watched you load the truck :(

Ok, we talked to some more of the neighbors.  Apparently, two other people had stuff removed from their vehicles.

The perps got caught in the act on the third car!  I have to fill out a report, and call an officer after 6 pm Wed.  Hopefully they have my stuff!

Splendid! Looks like karma reacted quicker than I thought.

Hope they didn't dispose it and everything works out OK Allen. It is ashame there are people in the world like that wanting something for nothing but at least they will pay in the long run. Good Luck

Wow!  Normally you'd never see those items again.  Now there's a chance!  Or at least you know the punks were caught.
