Bluegill - Big Bluegill

Do you love big bluegill?

I just thought I would share afew of my bluegill and other panfish caught in the last month of so. All of these fish were caught on a trout magnet, this was my first time ever using one and I am happy with the results.

Nothing too special, for me though these fish are pretty nice. Thought I would share. :)

Someone else feel free to share too.

GLAD YOU POSTED THESE BUDDY !! NICE GILLS

Thanks for the share.
I've got Trout Magnets and the slightly larger Crappie Magnets, but I've never really given them a whirl.
How do you fish them?

What a blast pulling those out of the water on your outing, and on plugs and spinners. They must have been really actively feeding.

Nathan nice fish and some great pictures. Looks like they were feeding on anything you through out.

Thank you everyone. David these fish were all pretty close to the bank, so I was pretty much just pitching and twitching back to myself.

Yea Mr. Tabbert, those big gills and pumpkin seed sure are aggressive this spring. This is the first time I have really fished this pond near my house and this year I have had all 4+ fish days (Which is pretty good for me here.) my previous record is 2. :P The lake/pond is covered in lily pads so you can only cast about 2-5feet from the shore if you can find a spot that is not choked with weeds. I have some more pictures I might post.

I absolutely love the trout magnet, I don't use it for trout but I am going to save up and buy one of the trout magnet kits.
