lake maps

Do all of you use lake maps? Do you prefer printed or downloaded versions? I have a pond improvement business with the opportunity to invest in mapping equipment and I just don't know if there is an interest for maps or not. I use them at times but don't rely on them all the time.

The more I hang at this site, the more I feel so lost in the world of true fishing. This site is truly how awesome anglers should be bred from..born, eat, and breath knowledge. You guys should be known as the group of, "Give a man the rod, he will feed the village."

Thank you for sharing your opinions. This is along the lines of what I was thinking. Most anglers do like to use maps when available and many ponds/lakes do not have current maps if one at all. My concept is to focus on water that does not get the attention of the big companies and make it affordable so that I can update the map every few years so changes in the bottom topography is known to the angler.
