Im sticking to this one.....

Im interested, too.

No I haven't .Curious how they work out!

Anyone use an ICE 35 Hummingbird .? got one coming soon in the post .Any suggestions or impressions appreciated .

Just a suggestion, if you have a Fishing Buddy 120 or 140, Smart Cast is pretty cool! I have the 728 model, and yes, Smart Cast is a great addition when I'm doing fishing from piers or shoreline with the family.

I use the heavy fishing rig (25lbs line), sliding bobber rig, using the #1 or #2 swivel to prevent the lost of the remote sonar device. I use a quick T-stopper of my own making to stop the swivel from sliding out of the Smart Cast slider hole. Cast it out about 50 to 100ft, or simply drop it into the water near where my lines are if I'm doing vertical jigging, and detect the depth.

Set up my lesser lbs test leader (normally a 10lbs), attached to a quick snap swivel at the end, then add anchored weight, either with 3 of the 1oz pyramid weight for windy day, or 1oz pyramid weight for just normal day. If you snag something, the anchor will be lost, but not your device. That sucker is expensive.

A few of us here actually use the old model of Smart Cast. I have the latest one that cost $110, now is $89. Quite a fun toy to have as an arsenal for remote sonar fishing. The wife loves to see the arches or FishIDs that come into the screen of the 728 fish finder. My kids kept screaming, "FISH! FISH! DADDY FISH!" every time they see the arches or fish IDs. Sheesh.

Thanks a bunch Leo. I have looking at the consol model for sometime. I am wanting one solely for bank fishing. I think it will really help out. Once again thanks!
