Bluegill - Big Bluegill

Do you love big bluegill?

I just spent an hour or so reading and re-reading some of the comments and observations made by members of Big Bluegill over the last few days.

VERY impressive.

What started as a fun way to post some pictures of my favorite fish, has turned into a fantastic clearinghouse for bluegill information. That's not even mentioning some pretty good fellowship and friendly banter.

Nice job, people. I thank every one of you.

I think there are thousands of other bluegill angling enthusiasts out there who will one day tune in to this website and be stunned when they see how much good stuff is one here. That's an exciting prospect.

I've said it quite often, Thank You Bruce!

Still working my way around the site. Love everything I've seen so far. Where are the tips mentioned in other posts ? Living in a highly stressed fishing area I could use all the insider tips that are out there !

Fishing for Gills is one of my favorite hobbies. This site is a great place where people show their love for catching gills and to share their knowlege to those who dont know much about fishing for big Bluegills. Also to give those who love to fish better and more productive ways to catch monster fish. ps if gills could get 36 inches long northerns wouldnt even compare to the fight the little powerhouses pack. Thanks for the excellent site Bruce and i hope to see more Gill enthusiasts and more amazing photos....still no 12 inch gill pictures yet, i have a goal, shellcrackers dont count they take steroids.

Next thing you know, you'll have Porturalians here, Bruce.

Bruce, your Jordan visitor would be me. Just trying to learn as much as possible as I begin the process of turning two 5-acre ponds in the middle of Ga into a couple of productive fisheries. Chad

Finally! a site dedicated to this wonderful species........For years I've shared a plethora of panfish knowledge with a handful of fishing websites, none of which seem to take this type of fishing seriously enough for my taste......until now. I don't think there's a better place to honestly share the love!.....THANKS BRUCE!!

I mean, we had a visitor today on Big Bluegill from Moldova of all places! How cool is that?

And we also have regular visits from our friends in the United Kingdom! I love it!

Also we have regular visits from the country of Jordan. I'm just amazed at that.

If you're a visitor from the U.K. or Jordan, I'm inviting you to become the first international member of Big Bluegill. :-)
