Pink Moon Bounty……Albemarle Estuary North Carolina…4/16/2022

Heavy overcast this morning with building winds all day, creek was a fraction above normal stage at noon.,,,,these speckles we’re taking a jig fished a foot deep around shallow wood…..

you and me both Dick.....we have thousands of mature trees both pink and white that are truly covered with flowers right now but it is a true sign of shallow crappie ehn they bloom in coastal North Carolina........

Thanks Dick…we’re in the peak for shallow Crappie on the Estuary……#dogwoods fully bloomed, #pink full moon, # surface temps above 66 degrees and # passion for panfish…….

Thanks Bruce, we’re on fire on shallow wood……I even got some nice gills staging yesterday…..it should be above average the next seven to ten days for shallow crappie with largemouth and Coppernose moving in shortly ….
