Do you love big bluegill?
In my location of New Jersey, panfish include a variety of Species. I enjoy a Multi species outing either fishing alone or with friends or Family members. Bluegill, Pumpkinseed, Red Breasted Sunfish, Bullheads, pan sized Stream Trout, White and Yellow Perch, Crappie, a few Rock Bass, a few Green Sunfish is what I encounter. All are welcome to join and archive their techniques and Species List .

Jeffrey-You're the President of this group as far as I'm concerned!
McScruff!- Thoroughly enjoyed your blog ! Through my 68 years of living so far I'd guess that less than ten years didn't include at least some fishing .The first Fish I recall catching I believe was a Pumpkinseed in a fishing Event for kids in Packanack lake Wayne NJ.
This is right up my alley John......Look forward to sharing my multi panfish excursions this season.....Living on the Albemarle Estuary in Northeast North Carolina I almost exclusively fish in brackish water......the great thing is the abundance of forage and all the panfish species that thrive......I will contribute on the following Panfish:
Black Crappie.....a.k.a. Speckles
Yellow Perch.....a.k.a. Raccoon Perch, Red Fin
White Perch......the most targeted panfish on the Albemarle
Florida Strained Bluegill.........a.k.a. Coppernose MY #1 Addiction
Northern Strain Bluegill.......North Carolina State Record
Warmouth........a.k.a. Goggle-Eyed Perch........my favorite to eat!
RedBreast Sunfish........a.k.a. Robin
Redear Sunfish.........a.k.a. Shellcracker or Lake Runner
Pumpkinseed......our smallest average species on the Albemarle
Flier........the most overlooked trophy sunfish in my region.....
I can actually catch all (10) of these species in one trip.......can't wait to share the details........
R/Jeffrey
