Bluegill - Big Bluegill

Do you love big bluegill?

Got my new PB steelhead this morning. I never got into these as much as I have other fish, but we usually try a couple times each season. Not a huge fish compared to what can come out of the Lake Erie tributaries, but I was pretty thrilled with it. Gave a few nice leaps before I was able to land it.

Thanks everyone.

I hear you, Slip. I certainly never called myself a good steelhead fisherman. Before that day, I had only landed two of them over a couple dozen tries over the last 10-12 years. Like you mentioned in the week leading up to that weekend, it was expected to be an excellent day on the calendar according to the solunar forecast. It didn't disappoint.
