Well i can see it for some areas i fish but i like to work the popper close to submerged weeds that have grown to just below the surface .Don't want that bottom fly hanging up.

JOHN;; MAKE THE DROPPER AT LEAST 24 INCHES BEHIND THE POPPING BUG;; NO CLOSER;; IT DOES MAKE A DIFFERENCE; AT LEAST IT DOES HERE;;;  AS FOR THE CASTING PART;; IT CAST SURPRINSLY VERY WELL !  THE DROPPER WILL SAIL RIGHT PAST THE POPPING BUG;  TIE THE LINE TO THE POPPING BUG HOOK; GIVE IT A TRY;; I BET YO UWILL LOVE IT !

ONE OF MY BEST WAYS TO GO AFTER THOSE BLUE GILL !!   WAY TO GO JOHN !!  HAVE YOU TRIED A DROPPER ON THE POPPING BUG YET ?  ITS AWSOME !  SOMETIMES I CATCH 2 AT A TIME THAT WAY !
