Bluegill - Big Bluegill

Do you love big bluegill?

4 of us from our hunting camp started ultralight spinning fishing about 3 years ago.
The neighbors at the camp have a 25 acre lake we have access to.
We also fish several ponds , a couple rivers locally.
We catch & eat from all places but a 7 acre pond where we try to manage , keeping small bream & bass & big ones go back.
Live in central Mississippi can fish 8-9 months a year.

Can't say you're a fat boy John. You're just, husky. LOL We're all having some kind of single keg in our latter days.

I can truly say I'm jealous, with that much angling fun for the past 3 years. I do kayaking as well, but we don't have the luxury of playing in small waters of 25 acres, nor rivers/streams here. It's like 100+ acres lakes, or the oceans. Finding a river that is calm enough to ride on, or enough water to even to go to, that's heaven. However, it's man vs nature (wind, crowded boating activities, or challenge the might ocean fronts).
