Do you love big bluegill?
IT SOUNDS CRAZY BUT MEMBER STEVE WILSON SENT ME SOME GALLS FROM HIS HOME STATE AND HE INCLUDED SOME CHOP STICKS HE WAS TRYING TO MAKE INTO A QUILL TYPE FLOAT. I HAD NO LUCK WITH THE CHOP STICKS AS A FLOAT BY THEMSELVES BUT I USED ONE OF THE BROKEN GALLS TO MAKE A HYBRID. THIS IS WHAT I CAME UP WITH STEVE THANKS FOR INSPIRATION AND THE SUPPLIES.

I like the looks of the hybrid Keith. Another great adaption by a true craftsman to the materials at hand........Thank you for the idea.
good looking as always on float making Keith!! I think you have it figured out now how to make them!
i went an extra step with paint on the WVMCSG Float. It's ready for an eye and then sealing.
Finished this float and added a pic of a finished West Virginia gall float.
LOOKS GREAT AGAIN KEITH!! YOU HAVE A GREAT TALENT FOR MAKING THESE UP!!
The W.V. hybrid float looks GREAT !! Another super job Keith...........The "wood grain" in the bulbs is beautiful.
