Very similar weather conditions as two years ago in early October........hoping for some of the same results......

I will start seining for live grass shrimp next week with a few gills like this in mind.....

I hear you on the family thing.......I certainly have much respect for priorities!

LOL I hear you. The J-O-B and F-A-M-I-L-Y things can cause the havoc of the real business on the waters. Blood moon fastly approaching, and so far, the full moon caused havoc on the bites based on reports. Last blood moon cause a massive scale bite shutdown during the entire day as well. Really interesting thing to observe.

Thanks Leo......it has taken time and I still learn something almost every trip out.........my detailed notes serve me well for aligning weather situations for choosing a location to fish..........there is always a reason why the fish bite other than being hungry........if you solve that puzzle it becomes predictable and you gain confidence.........I have detailed notes on the "blood moon" and the aftermath and this gives me confidence for the upcoming week......if it wasn't for this "J...O.....B" thing......LOL

You are the master of the waters over there, like LedHed over here. I'll be rolling over in surprises if you come home with a smell of skunk on you.

Thanks Leo......it will become more and more challenging as winter approaches but I still enjoy trying different baits and techniques to try and fool a few gills in the colder waters..........

Thanks Dick........great fighter and I was glad to see he was lip hooked for release.......often you get more gut hooked fish the deeper they are caught............
