Bluegill - Big Bluegill

Do you love big bluegill?

Back in the old days the old mountain men would get together for a rendevous  , Tootie and I were just wondering who would be interested and like to join us in early Sept on Reelfoot Lake in Tennessee  for a Old fashion bluegill rendevouis . This wont be a fishing tournament but just a BBG get together for a good time catching fish, eating good, swapping flies and lies.  Does this not sound like too much fun ! We arn't getting any younger, let us know what you think!   LOFR

CAN'T WAIT - LET'S GET THIS FISHING PARTY STARTED!!  :)

Hey, that's a good idea Carl - see you soon!

Have a great time guys! Be sure and take lots of photos!!! Safe travels to everyone!

Yes, exactly Tony!

First fish pictures coming next!
And let's see a few pics of the participants, too!
Dawn, decent weather, overcast - high 70's a break in the heat wave light winds. Everyone saying how tough the fishing is and snake watch has begun for me. Found out no venom but the fishing has been described as really tough here and the snakes go 300 mph like the Anaconda movie.

HEY JOHNNY PPPPPPPPPPPLEASE GIVE CARL SOME FISHING TIPS !!!!!!!!!! THANKS for the rib report and fishing report too Johnny.....

LOFRBR (Lord of the Fly Rods and BBQ Ribs made fantastic ribs! Telescopic poles rigged with new prototype floats, new hooks to hit water shortly- shhhh don't tell the bream! 8k maggots ready for Reel Foot!
So how many people actually showed up for BBGRR?
Can we get a list of attendees?
Food and drink report?
Fireside comments?
Quips and funnies?

Where's the newsletter, the Rendezvous Report?

Yes...I am anxious to see how it all is going! Hope to see this be an annual thing and get more of us guys in on it in coming years. Just didn't work out for me this time. Have a ball!
