Bluegill - Big Bluegill

Do you love big bluegill?

Back in the old days the old mountain men would get together for a rendevous  , Tootie and I were just wondering who would be interested and like to join us in early Sept on Reelfoot Lake in Tennessee  for a Old fashion bluegill rendevouis . This wont be a fishing tournament but just a BBG get together for a good time catching fish, eating good, swapping flies and lies.  Does this not sound like too much fun ! We arn't getting any younger, let us know what you think!   LOFR

Good Luck and have fun at Reelfoot. I was there in May and fishing was tough. I stayed at Blue Banks, good food and great people. Johnny, lots of places to rent boat at Reelfoot. Wish I was on here more often, I would have met up with you guys. Watch the stumps and snakes (haha).  Northside of lake, is usually better fishing.

I have never had any luck at Reelfoot fishing either, hoping Lord of the Fly Rods is going to change that for me!

hey Dewayne;; just load up and come on down!!

Yes- if anyone reads this and wishes to join us, do so. I am prepared to rent a boat but I am no captain, more of a 1st mate.Things will work out well no matter what - if I fish from shore or boat. Someone said there are tons of docks as well but I want to get out on those stumps! My rigs are made up to get out on top of the umbrellas.

By afternoon, I am sure we will see some fish -

Johnny
