Bluegill - Big Bluegill

Do you love big bluegill?

E-6000, E-6100, and E-6800 adhesive for fishing needs

In the past, I've always been using Super Glue Gel, AquaSeal Epoxy, or even Marine Goop in order to take care of my multitude needs, from fishing to normal household repairs. Well, Carl Hendix turned my head to something that got me all thrilled about. The E-6000 adhesive is, so are, amazing. I resealed my kayak equipment, switching a few marine adhesive bonded site with the E-6000. Ooooo..the flexibility of the semi-cured bond, and it's clear, unlike the messy white residue from the old marine epoxy.

I used to repair my float tube (waders, fins, etc.) and snorkeling equipment with Aquaseal. Well, after using a bit of the E-6000 for just a day, looks like I'm tossing the remaining AquaSeal into the trash bucket very soon. Try to look for the E-6000 adhesive in the local Wallyworld (Walmart) arts and crafts isles. Info for:

E-6000 Adhesive TDS

AquaSeal Expoxy TDS

I got myself a 1oz of the E-6000 for on-the-go, and a 2oz for home all-purposes usage. Take a look closely to the materials being used on and for, tailoring to cover "Fishing waders/wet suits". I used it on my fly-lines to create a loop, which super glue gel and AquaSeal failed to hold things in place. The 1 hour of curing time already made bonded site ultra strong, soft, and flexible.

Sorry guys, this stuff can't help you with the items that get subjected to extreme cold and boiling hot arena. None of the epoxy/glue can handle that. As Carl described it, it holds down marine's tranducers for years, and various waterproofing adhesion that required by field folks. I'm converted.

If you like it Leo, that's good enough for me.

glad you like it Leo!!  so far- I haven't found anything it will not hold on to!!   personally I have replaced all of my other types of glue- with just this one!!  I use a LOT of round toothpicks to apply the glue to various items!!

Actually, I have found something that it cannot hold down for too long, even after curing. I was foolish enough to not notice a bead size amount of it got stuck on my arm after using. A good 16hrs have passed, it has plenty of chances to bond to my skin. But, the oil and the skin's willingness to shed..well..it was a slight "ouch" and off it went.

well leo-- that's just one of those--  don't do that!!   LOL!!

The E-6000 sealed the leaks my PVC pontoons. It has some unpleasant chemistry, though, so be mindful of that.
It also is not quick to cure. Follow the directions.
When super glue or epoxy isn't appropriate, this is the stuff to have.
