Bluegill - Big Bluegill

Do you love big bluegill?

BBG collectively knows everything, so here goes :-)

I'm looking for a decent rod rack to put in my office. These are a couple that look like they would meet me needs, except for one thing: the reviewers say they aren't decent:

http://www.cabelas.com/product/Cabelas-10-Rod-Cabinet-Rack/738869.u...

I'd like something like those, but made:

- Well, or at least fairly well

- Solid wood, or at least veneer over plywood, not MDF

Does anybody on BBG know where I could find such a thing? Google ain't helpin' here.

Or if you're a woodworker and would consider making one, send me a private message with a quote :-)

Thanks!

Jonathan

have you tried bass pro shop?? I got mine from there- it holds 10 rods; flip top with a deep drawer in the top;; has 3 sliding drawers; with deep insets. it does not have rollers ;; but would be easy to put them on. sturdy built; real nice color;  mine stands 27 inches high and is 12x12 square.  I got mine a couple years ago- got it on sale- I think for around maybe 40 dollars.  very well  satisified  with it; and should be perfect for a office!!

I've read the reviews on the BPS website, and people don't seem all that impressed with theirs, either, by and large. Looks like everybody is selling racks made of MDF and not made all that well (in particular, they seem to be inconsistently made: on some, everything fits well; on others, it doesn't. That's one of the things I want to avoid, but I might have no choice).

Thanks.

Jonathan

A friend made them.  I just sent him an e-mail asking if he still does.  As I recall, they were well made and nice looking.

he stopped making them - sorry
