I tried a caterpillar once to no avail.....and they were hitting nightcrawlers that day like crazy....go figure....

Yes Leo 'Fish Bait 'is what I was thinking .I'm thinking smallmouths and Trout would really like these but think a Gill or a Perch might be the first fish I give these a try on.

There are about 17 varieties with the same body hair density for your location. Need a bit clearer closeup shot of the caterpillar, possibly in a more side profile, under better lighting.
