Vacation, and no fishing the next three days........

Other half informed me last week that Tuesday, she has an 0900 Dr.'s appointment.  Friday, I sent her a message asking her to call my folks, and see what their plans were for Father's Day.  I was thinking Pulled Pork, Baked Beans, Potato Salad, etc.  My Dad jumped on it!  Then, my other half tells me that Monday morning, she's going to the "Parade of Homes" expo in town, and isn't taking the kids.

I may have to take the kids Mon and Tues morning, and try to get them on some catfish.

Forgot to mention, tomorrow morning at least, I'm probably going to switch into Production Mode again on tying some flies.  I'm getting really low on Orange Scuds, foam Grasshoppers, and I really need to do some deer hair bass bugs.

I'm not going to complain much about that.  I normally have to work holidays; having one off seems like a good idea to spend time with family.  Especially since EVERYONE is going to be out-and-about on the lakes/rivers tomorrow.  I'll just stay away from the craziness.

Now, if I can get my kids on some decent catfish......

No youngins for me, but always interested in catfish.
