Jamie it is nice to have the pond it helps me with the little bit of sanity I have left. It keeps me busy between the house chores and all the mowing and the pond let alone the running back and forth to Toledo to the Doctors and hospitals but its always feels better when we get back home and the pond is a big plus. I had the pond dug before I had the hose built so you can see I had my priorities in order.

The aeration is on a timer Leo. It runs for 3 hours in the morning and 3 hours in the evening. My companion Gracie outdoors I can't go anywhere and she is there and like a little kid if we don't get out there at least once a day and there's no forgetting she's there to remind you and does quit oftain.

Bob did you know once you catch 1 or 2 of the catfish they somehow communicate and you'll not catch another one. I've seen them to be gone for a month or so not spending time at the feeder till they some how get their confidence back up. Then you might be able to catch a couple more it's strange but true they have a way to communicate.

Excellent looking pond, and one very active dog. Nothing like a man's best friend to keep you on your feet, eyes opened, and ears perked up.

That is one major stocking of fish. No wonder you're having fun trying to control the catfish. They have such a large amount of resources to chew on. Imagine if you can isolate 1/4 of the pond, and introduce the grass shrimps to adapt and thrive in this pond. Your aquaculture will be come titans that lurk the depth.

Interesting I haven't seen the aeration system for the pond this huge as you walk around the pond. Good FA along the edge.
