Bluegill - Big Bluegill

Do you love big bluegill?

I have been a avid fisherman with a strong focus on bluegill and their cousins.. I love sitting on the bank with a light spinning rig with a bobber split shot and hook with bait.. just fishing,, life has grown so hectic and busy.. with a divorce and a month in the hospital and death of my best fishing buddy my dad. Has been very long time since I got to wet a hook.

I want more memories like catching 137 in a afternoon with my brother in law and having the time of my life and beating him by 7 fish when all was said and done..

Well I have bought a license and some simple gear and I am gonna fish again! I really really want to find some local ponds and creeks where I can catch some 1 and a half and two pound fish. I have never really got to do that but one time at my grandparent's boathouse at lake whitney when I was young. caught a HUGE pumpkinseed with hotdog piece. almost 2 lbs..

I live in burleson texas now and have NO IDEA where to go.. if anyone knows of a good lace around here or within a couple hours or so would REALLY appreciate the info! My dad taught me to repsect the places you fish and leave them better then when you came if you find any garbage ect.

I would always follow those guide lines when going somewhere to fish.

Kind Regards

Joe
