Looks like a hybrid of some sort with cracker being the dominate trait.

Well Jim,its funny that you mentioned that:)I was telling my friend about how some of these gills look a little diffrent from the others.We used to have crappie but the tilapia seem to have pushed them out...But yeah they do look diffrent??.

First things first...you got to go and enjoy fishing and a bonus was you caught some fish....it will only get better from here! I'm sure you be posting some big gills this season!
