I have never tried this so not much help here.  But I too would like some ideas on how to prepare these little critters to make them tasty.

Guess we'll just have to experiment Zach.

you could try blackening them in an iron skillet over the fire,i do this on my grill as you would need one heck of an exhaust fan to attempt indoors.have not eaten a bullhead in years, remember them being quite good in fact

Blackend my be the way to go. I have been wanting to try to blacken some fish for a long time. Maybe we should start group for people to post their blackening recipes.

Just start a discussion in this group! I am thinking of Catching Bullies ,removing the heads and guts and placing them in foil with some seasoning ,then putting them in a camping Grill with long handle I use for Hotdogs and cooking that way over the firepit . .I had breaded fried Bullies a long time ago at an all ya can eat dinner up in Port Ontario once and that sounds good to me again.

Where are you getting the Bulls from ?

New Jersey where I live .LOL!

I put this on another page. You'll never clean Bullheads with a nail and a board again!!
