Bluegill - Big Bluegill

Do you love big bluegill?

The Silent Stinger in Yellow splashed with red...The "Tarheel Terror"

I also fished this color for an hour and caught more than 20 fish of multiple species....It was getting hammered when I called it a trip and headed home......

This one color combo is my favorite #1 go to color for Gills and Red Ears in Iowa. I"m going back to Iowa this coming year with the intentions of catching some big Red Ears , I KNOW THEY ARE THERE!!  I NORMALLY fish the purple bead head were ever I go first, but in certain places in Iowa this lure pictured here is the OOOOOnly thing I will try first instead of a purple bead  head........

Tooty first contacted me in late July of this year to inquire with me about testing a few bugs in my region....through phone conversations and brainstorming the "Silent Stinger" was born and refined to the point that they are top shelf in my bluegill box......This particular color has only been fished a couple times on two different rivers and was successful on both for multiple species earning the name "Tarheel Terror" in yellow base splashed with red ribs.

HEY JEFFREY THANKS FOR THE UPDATE and I've used that color combo for years for crappie , i.e. the old trout streamer called the MICKEY FIN. YELLOW AND RED is my own favorite for red ears out in Iowa . Guess I'll have to have a go at some bigger ones Jeffrey and see how they work for me.

NICE! Looks like Tooty got a new fly among his deadly arsenal. I need to upgrade my red, blue, black, with this.
