Bluegill - Big Bluegill

Do you love big bluegill?

Before i start it, i just want see if i can strike up some interest!  The winner would receive three porcupine quill floats that i have made, in their choice of size i have available and whatever color scheme i can make! (fluorescent tipped, red/yellow)

I think you would have a better response Chris if you had what the contest was. Personally I have never used a porcupine quill float before but hear many good things about them. Wish you luck.

good point! haha

Whoever catches and posts a photo of the biggest fish that they caught that week will be the winner!

Is it any type of fish or bluegill only, and do I get extra credit for catching it on a porcupine quill?  Man I wish I had some pet porcupines.      LOFR

I think i'll make it two categories, because i like all types of fish. biggest fish, and biggest sunfish!

Define "sunfish"?  Remember, Black Bass are technically sunfish.

I may have to get some snagging gear and go after spoonbill......j/k

bluegill, redear, long ear, etc etc!

Ok, count me in.

When will it start? I'm in.

It'll start on monday, so these couple days will let everyone get ready or plan to go fish etc. I'll make a new thread on late sunday or on monday with the rules and whatnot. hopefully more people will join in!
