We are not that far away we may have to get up a trip that way or this way...we will be glad to have you here...that I really mean to..

I wish you good luck and great health in your retirement Vic............may it be the golden years but we do hope you take the time to share your success with us....Good luck on that giant gill.....I hope Tim O. is very busy this year......LOL

Yeah but I'm on the hunt Jeff, I'm telling Tim now so he want be surprised,,,LOL

Thats funny 2lbgill

Such a true statement and won't be believed until experience for themselves.

We try to fish two new lakes in our area every year. We try to catch enough fish to eat and keep us through winter.

For this year. My daughter & I are going to build our own john boat.

we are also going to try to fish only with homemade, jigs, lures and baits.

If we use live bait, it will be worms we have raise or crickets & grasshoppers we catch.

We will also be using the Bamboo cane poles we are building.

Just spending more time on the water.

That would be getting back to nature and a challenge there, good luck.

Fish more. Fly fish more. Get a boat.

Well. Continue to fish my favorite bluegill lake, and learn the river above Lake Pueblo.  It's durn near deserted, and there are trout, bass, walleye in there.  I may be letting a cat out of the bag here.  Hope not.  Y'all just forget what I just said.

I continue to hunt for that illusive 10" bluegill.  They're rare in this state, and it will be photo'd and released.

And cook fish.  And eat fish.  Except for September.  September is reserved for dove season.

I hope to get my float tube repaired, It has some tears that need repaired.  I hope to get back a straight fishing rod back from the sportsman's guide.  I hope this 4 pound fireline works on my spinning reel as well as I think it will.  I hope this cheap hand held fish finder works well with my float tube.   I hope to catch a nice large crappie and redear this summer.  I hope to try out this spooning method for panfish.  I hope to move to Georgia If the Lord wills it.  I hope to fish more this summer than last summer, hopefully we won't have vehicle problems.  These are some of my hopes for 2012.  I mainly hope my wife and kids are happy and healthy this year.

may the bluegill swallow your bait many times this year.

David Dillman

Just hope to get on the water more than last year.  Get a few more fish.  And get my great-grandson on the water!  He and I have cabin feeeeeeever!!!
