Bluegill - Big Bluegill

Do you love big bluegill?

The forecast for today was in the mid 60's and no wind so me and a friend went out on the kayak today. we ended up having a great day on the lake

I caught this really nice redear, it went 13.25" but was pretty skinny, I cant wait till spring when they start putting on the weight and look like dinner plates

Nice Redear Federico! Glad somebody had a good day on the lake....Weather looked pretty good for you guys....

Yes  Jeffrey this lake has been on fire through the winter, the forecast is mid 60's to low 70's for the next 5 days

It should keep the fishing good

Nice fish Federico I'm jealous. Enjoy yourself and keep the pictures coming for us people who can't quit make it out there. GOOD FISHIN...

wow great fish for anytime of the year!

It's a very thick looking fish but not a tall fish. If she was full of eggs, she'd have probably weighed much more. That is an absolute trophy fish though...are you in Texas or Arizona? I can't wait to see your redear pictures in April and May!!

I'm in Texas and this is a spring fed river lake, right now the water temp still is at 61-63 where other lake are at 53-55.
