Do you love big bluegill?

I like to use cheeze curls for batter on gills.tTake a bag, crush them up fine, get your oil heating.Use eggs first then in the batter of curls and fry til golden brown.Yummmm!!!

Sounds interesting...maybe we will try this one out!
wow! Is this for real? I wish i would have read this earlier cause i just cooked up 20 nice gills. I coulda at least tried it on the last one!
Really? Can I get a picture of that?
Next batch of gills, maybe I WILL take a picture. But I know it will always make me hungry.Use the BIG fat curls. They are better.
By cheese curls, do you mean Cheetos? And you call them batter, what do you add to them? We're still waiting for the pictures
Never tried it but I heard folks use crushed corn flakes which sounds good to me.
I want to commend 7.5" bluegill Sharon for digging through old discussions (Jan 24 09) and finding something she wanted to know more about. It brought it back to the Latest Activity column where more would see it and comment. I did that awhile back and had a 24 reply back and forth with someone who never says much on here. Just lurks. It was an old zero replys discussion when we started. You never know what treasures you'll find by digging around on here. Cheese Curl bluegills, who'd of ever thunk it?
I will try anything once, twice if'n I like it!!!!!!
Anyone try this yet? I looked for cheese curls in the store. Saw only cheetos. No recipe yet either. Bill?
Sharon, forget the cheese curls (don't see how you can, they are everywhere) and get some cheeze-its. Little tiny crackers. Crush them up fine. Make a liquid mixture of milk and eggs. Dip the fish (filets are best) in the liquid, then the cheeze-it crumbs. Drop in grease.

I am NOT a cook, I have Not tried this. It just came to me in a vision a moment ago. I may be "channeling" just for you. Anyway, I want you to try it and report back to us.
Thanks boogie, will do. Have cheeze-its, will fry
I can't believe you fell for my "vision". It really did just come to be before I typed it. If it turns out good, I'm headed for the lottery counter. I see big numbers. And cheeze-its!!!
