Bluegill - Big Bluegill

Do you love big bluegill?

Hello - Great website!  I love learning other anglers perspectives.  This is my first post to the site.  I fish panfish quite extensively here in Ontario.   I thought I would share a few youtube videos of panfishing in Ontario and if the group likes them, I'll share others.  If you want to talk Ontario bluegill or crappies, feel free to drop me a line.

Cheers,

LK

Very nice videos, Lonnie, and welcome aboard. It's always good to see an In Fisherman contributor on this site.

Very interesting videos. Can't believe the lake is so shallow. But my gosh, that is one heavy gear to play with gill.

Nice video I really enjoyed it. We use to go to Sturgon Lake many years ago when they thought Blue gill and Rock bass were junk fish till I fried up a mess. Now they keep every good sized blue gill they catch. Had many a good time going up North and fishing Sturgon Lake don't know why we ever stopped but we did. The friend we had who live on the lake were great people and there hospitality even better. Miss them old days but I know they learn than it doesn't get much better than a good BG fry. Thanks for the video it brought back some old delightful memories.
