Do not have a pond. However, I am a retired Fisheries Scientist, certified by the American Fisheries Society. Being retired, I have not maintained certification. Technology today is much different than it was in the late '50's. I did have lots of experience in Ohio with farm pond management matters. I am the carver who taught Pat Moseley how to carve. The cherry bluegill was presented to me on my 50th. The only surprise was that it was for me as I had been privy to the project.
You could set up a site like this in less than an hour. It is truly simple. Just go to ning.com and it will let you set up the site for free. If you'd like I would be OK with you calling me personally so I can walk you through it. You are correct that this sort of interactive site would be amazing for woodcarvers.
I would only ask one thing in return...
You'd have to let me be member #2 on your site! :-)
