Bluegill - Big Bluegill

Do you love big bluegill?

Replica of Bluegill caught though the ice. In some lakes they tend to have a lighter color in the winter. This one weighted 1 lb 2ozs.

That is one of the most realistic paint jobs I have ever seen.  Very nice!

That is truly wonderful work!

Should I be fortunate enough to someday catch a 'gill of such proportions or larger, and be further fortunate in getting the chancellor of the exchequer <g> to release funds to have it mounted, what steps should I take to preserve it for mounting?  Or, if it's photographed and released, can a repro be made based on the photos?

Great looking work Tim. If I ever catch a wall worthy fish, you'll get the work...I'm in Indiana, hope that'll work out.
