Yup Mike the weather here has been goofy too and now we have record level rains , last year was a draught year and think the weather is going to be so irratic that ya can't plan a vacation a year ahead anymore......

Hey David,this is one of my favorite spots at calaveras lake....it just needs to get warm and stay warm this morning we hit 45..very unusual for this time of yr.

When I was a kid, SEVERAL CENTURIES AGO, I used to fish a lake in Minnesota called Osakis and it was filled with these pencil reeds and the crappies and northerns loved to hang in em......nice spot Mike !!!! Brings back memories for me...
