Its been suggested to me that the snake is ready to molt .The blue/white eyes showing so . I thought maybe the snake was blind .

I see Bruce -sounds the same here 22 snakes are listed for NJ , the timber and the copperheads being the two venomous snakes.

Yes, we do have timber rattlers and copperheads here in Pa. We just don't have any poisonous water snakes.

Pretty harmless water snake I believe Bruce! The white /Blue eyes were strange! We have Copperheads and Timber Rattlers here Bruce .You don't have those in PA?
