Scruffy I snagged that book the minute I got back into fly fishing Andy consider it my bible when it comes to gills on the fly. Bluegill are my favorite fish on the fly rod hands down, though bass and crappie can be a good time as well. His crappie book is also worth a read, and has some great fly recipes in it including his newer fly the brim reaper.

This little panfish assassin is the master piece of Terry Wilson from http://thebluegillpond.com. Yellow, Black, and Chartreuse are all effective, and one fly I could count on when nothing else was working. I posted this picture when I first joined this site to show Greg, Dick, and whoever else was curious as to what my go to fly was and looked like. Terry did give me the recipe for when I'm ready to sit down and crank these babies out.
