Not too big, but just like the gills and the bass in this pond, very healthy looking. Might be time to switch to more crappie friendly patterns and see about some meat for the freezer before the lily pads take over.

rough week (note the bags around my eyes) but my new favorite pond apparently has some crappie. And my girlfriend was there so my picture isn't a selfie! Nice end to the week, even if I didn't get any gills
