I hear ya Dick! It was a subtle take but the cool thing was it was a loooonnggg cast and I was able to fight this fella for a long time .I like that with heavy spoons from shore also .I am looking to do some Top Water at dawn and Dusk and hope to catch Big fish and many fish .Love the Black Jitterbug at night!

Nothing as good as catching a fish on top water. You hear the splash and have to refrain till you feel the bite and sometimes that's a hard thing to do. Nice Bass John and I know it was a blast to catch.

Thanks Ronnie but Midday and a  Bright Blue sky is not High Percentage but it's when I felt like going Ha! I do much better with Size and numbers of course towards dark and early morn. Sometimes cloudy dark conditions and Topwater is good all day .
