GOING TO HAVE TO TRY THIS RECIPE, THANKS FOR SHARING IT.
Jim ;
Never tried that before , sounds very good and healthier than deep fried fish and just as good . Thanks for sharing.
Thanks Jim something I'll be trying out shortly my grand daughter say's she is going to catch one of the cats out of the pond for supper.
Guys...pretty much the same as crab cake recipe. Here's what I did...
30 fillets of 8 inch class bluegill, boil them in water til they break up easily about 5 minutes, stir them and break them up with a slotted spoon as they boil
Drain them in a collander and put the meat in a bowl and chill in the fridge for 20 minutes
Mix 2 eggs and some bread crumbs to the fish meat and stir to a nice consistency for padding cakes. Now is the time to mix in Old Bay or other seafood spices.
Pad cakes with or with out your favorite coating and fry on medium heat in fry pan with a small amount of olive or vegetable oil
Sprinkle salt/pepper/spices on cakes as they are frying, flip over when golden brown and fry other side.
Serve with favorite beverage/garnish/vegetables.
ENJOY!
