Hey John my float was set at two feet……I made a few casts in staging areas that were six feet deep, this was the only crappie bite I got on this trip…..but we’re getting very very close ,so rest assured I’m pacing the floors on these rainy days hoping to get back out soon….the love of fishing!

Thanks Troy….I refuse to fish deep for crappie once the calendar shifts to March……I love to catch them shallow….
