Bluegill - Big Bluegill

Do you love big bluegill?

Biggest gill this Afternoon was little over 9 inches..

Fat fish getting ready for the Spawn.....Water @ 56 degrees but the fish were a touch deeper today still lurking off the dead grass beds from last year.....

Thanks Mark... But it still hasn't taken off real good and early week freezes will hold or lower water temperatures not too mention today's wind! I just messed around from the bank a little while this weekend in between down pours, hail and wind! I was surprised by a few Coppernose I landed....that's got me excited! Nice flies you're assembling and I'm sure you'll be out there soon catching fish...Good Luck when you get out there Mark!

they should start biting anytime now,the bald eagles are back in the area and that is a good sigh .

nice fish jeff ,we are supose to have high wind on tuesday,and drop in the low 60's on wednesday ,right now high 80's
